Tridev is an Indian action thriller film released in 1989, directed and co-written by Rajiv Rai. The movie features a star-studded cast, including Naseeruddin Shah, Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Sangeeta Bijlani, Sonam, Anupam Kher, and Amrish Puri. Upon its release, the film achieved remarkable critical and commercial success, becoming the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 1989, following Maine Pyar Kiya and Ram Lakhan. At the 35th Filmfare Awards in 1990, Tridev won three awards. Additionally, the film was remade in Telugu under the title Nakshatra Poratam, featuring Suman Talwar, Bhanuchander Prasad, and Arun Pandian
